MEDICAL OUTREACH
In a remarkable collaboration, Raham Foundation and CEFMORSI International joined forces to provide much-needed medical services to rural communities in Rivers State. This initiative aimed to bridge the healthcare gap and ensure that even the most remote areas receive quality medical care.
The free medical outreach which took place on the 29th of June 2024 at the Rumunduru Playground featured a dedicated team of doctors, pharmacists, nurses, laboratory scientists and volunteers working tirelessly to serve the community. The outreach included various medical services such as medical consultations, general check-ups and examination, laboratory tests and the distribution of essential medications. All medical services were provided for free to residents from the host community and neighboring communities who showed up in mass.
Raham Foundation and CEFMORSI International share a common vision of accessible healthcare for all. This partnership was formed with the goal of addressing the healthcare disparities in rural areas and improving the overall well-being of the communities served.
Services Provided
- Medical Consultation & General Checkups: Comprehensive health assessments and consultations were provided to individuals of all ages.
- Laboratory Tests: Various rapid diagnostic testing were carried out for those who needed it.
- Medication Distribution: Free essential medications were distributed to treat common ailments and chronic conditions.
The outreach had a profound impact on the community, with over 200 individuals receiving medical attention. Many residents expressed their gratitude for the care and support provided, highlighting the importance of such initiatives in improving their quality of life.
